RTA has kept fleets rolling since 1979. Prior to forming RTA, Ron Turley managed a fleet of over 50,000 pieces of equipment for United Parcel Service (UPS). This presented several challenges and Ron knew that getting a Fleet Management system in the hands of the managers was critical to properly maintaining a fleet of any size. After leaving his position at UPS as the National Maintenance Manager in 1979, Ron started the RTA Fleet Management Company, with a focus on developing software for the Fleet Manager. RTA has been one of the leaders in providing Fleet Management Software for thousands of fleets throughout the world since that time.
