Arizona Department of Corrections Powers Fleet 100 with RTA
Arizona Department of Corrections
Richard Kauth
Maintenance Operations Manager

RTA has kept fleets rolling since 1979. Prior to forming RTA, Ron Turley managed a fleet of over 50,000 pieces of equipment for United Parcel Service (UPS). This presented several challenges and Ron knew that getting a Fleet Management system in the hands of the managers was critical to properly maintaining a fleet of any size. After leaving his position at UPS as the National Maintenance Manager in 1979, Ron started the RTA Fleet Management Company, with a focus on developing software for the Fleet Manager. RTA has been one of the leaders in providing Fleet Management Software for thousands of fleets throughout the world since that time. RTA also enjoys great customer loyalty due to our superior service and support after the sale. Our very first customer still uses the system some 28 years later! RTA is aggressive in supplying enhancements and updates to the product to keep up with the changing Fleet industry as well as the changing technologies. With one major update each year, our customers get the features they are requesting to make managing their fleet more effective. RTA maintains a dedicated technical and training staff, as well as a programming staff to continue the tradition of value for our clients. Customers that maintain a current support contract with RTA enjoy great technical support, free annual upgrades and free training options.
