Live Shopping Samsung’s strategy to take over

The customer, Samsung, sought to implement a live shopping strategy to enhance its online customer experience and drive conversions across its Latin American markets. The electronics giant partnered with vendor VTEX to deploy this new commerce tactic using the VTEX Live Shopping App, a solution native to the VTEX platform.

The solution implemented by VTEX enabled Samsung to host localized live shopping events streamed simultaneously on its own website and social media channels. This strategy resulted in significant performance improvements; for example, during a one-hour event in Mexico, Samsung's website saw a 192% increase in sessions and a 129% increase in items added to cart. VTEX provided the integrated technology that allowed Samsung to successfully adapt this innovative global strategy for the Latin American region.
