A VTEX Case Study
Samsung, a global technology company, faced the challenge of poor visibility across its numerous digital sales channels in Brazil, including its D2C site and various partner portals. They needed to centralize data to make informed decisions and proactively manage their operation. To overcome this, Samsung partnered with vendor VTEX to implement a comprehensive customer journey and order-tracking solution using the VTEX commerce platform.
The solution VTEX implemented utilized its IO backend services and APIs to integrate data into Samsung's systems. Key components included VTEX Pixel for frontend insight, Order Feed and Order Hook for real-time order updates, and a custom integration with Elastic Stack for data processing and dashboards. This allowed VTEX to help Samsung achieve a dramatic reduction in first-response time from four hours to under forty minutes and recover over 300 lost orders during a critical sales period, significantly improving operational efficiency.
