A VTEX Case Study
Carrefour Brazil set out to become the country’s leading digital grocery but faced a monolithic commerce stack that slowed feature delivery and hindered omnichannel growth. To support a cultural and technical shift to continuous delivery, Carrefour chose VTEX as its commerce platform (using D2C and Marketplace capabilities) and partnered with CI&T to execute a complete replatforming and migration roadmap.
VTEX delivered an on‑time migration—completed in five months—that replaced the legacy stack with a customer‑centric, agile, and scalable architecture. The VTEX implementation drove a 30% increase in order conversions and a 168% improvement in Net Promoter Score, supporting Carrefour’s e‑commerce expansion across some 13 million customers and enabling faster innovation and better omnichannel experiences.
