With Unity’s Ad Quality, Jam City measured churn, revenue, and CPM alongside internal data to test unblocking competitor content in titles like Genies & Gems, Vineyard Valley, and Panda Pop. The solution helped them identify which games could stay unblocked safely: Genies & Gems saw CPMs rise by 20% with no retention impact, while Panda Pop and Vineyard Valley were reblocked because the revenue lift did not justify the churn. Unity’s platform gave Jam City the confidence to optimize monetization and open a new revenue stream.
