Vodafone UK aimed to engage football fans on transfer deadline day — one of the biggest live moments in the football calendar — to promote the Sky Sports Mobile TV offer. The challenge was to capture the attention of an audience already following rapid transfer news and live updates and convert that buzz into interest in the mobile TV product.

Vodafone UK partnered with Sky Sports and launched a timely Twitter Amplify campaign that used Promoted Video, Creative Canvas and audience targeting to deliver high-quality, relevant video during the deadline conversation. The activity reached millions and drove strong awareness and engagement (key results: 3M, 27.2M, 22%), with Vodafone reporting “fantastic reach and high levels of engagement” and significant incremental connections for the business.
