TUI Achieves End-to-End Automation of Financial Processes

TUI, the world’s leading tourism group serving 27 million customers with hotels, cruise ships, airlines and tour operators, needed to migrate its ERP to SAP while maintaining—or improving—its high level of financial automation. With around 5 million supplier invoices a year and complex, country-specific billing and regulatory requirements, the company sought to reduce back-office costs, increase processing speed and consistency, and achieve greater cross-border standardization and cost transparency.

TUI implemented Kofax ReadSoft Process Director for SAP to automate P2P, O2C and R2R workflows directly inside SAP, using OCR and rules-based validation to capture invoices and documents in any format. The integrated solution enabled rapid, self-sufficient rollouts and customization, delivering standardized processes across territories, up to 85% straight-through processing for millions of invoices, predominantly one‑touch approvals, faster supplier payments and improved financial visibility so staff can focus on higher-value work.
