The customer, U.S. Bank, partnered with Submittable to help a state run a high-stakes, fast-paced COVID relief program for frontline workers that faced the challenge of processing a massive volume of 1.2 million applications quickly and securely.

Submittable implemented a multilingual application portal that automatically verified and filtered applicants, processing over 40 applications per second at its peak. Together with U.S. Bank, they disbursed $500 million, with 97% of recipients receiving funds within three business days. The efforts of Submittable and U.S. Bank prevented at least $2.2 million in fraud and earned the 2023 Banking Tech Award for Best Bank & Fintech Partnership.
