Skyscanner, the global travel search site used by over 50 million people monthly, needed to scale search advertising, enter new markets with localized approaches and hit strict spend and ROI targets. To meet those goals it partnered with Skai, adopting Skai’s Portfolio Optimiser for automated bid optimisation and Campaign Mirroring to replicate campaigns across engines.
Skai worked closely with Skyscanner to build a Yandex bidding algorithm and roll out Campaign Mirroring to Bing, delivering clear performance gains: on Yandex advertising spend rose 14% while revenue grew 23% year‑over‑year, and the UK Campaign Mirroring pilot produced a 131% increase in clicks, 58% increase in revenue and a 25% decrease in cost per click. Skai’s solutions also saved time and helped Skyscanner stay first-to-market with new search innovations.
