American Express tapped Sharethrough to run Native Display across multiple lines of business — including personal savings, refer-a-business, consumer marketing and Marriott Bonvoy — to combat banner blindness on standard display supply paths and drive qualified site traffic. The campaign used Sharethrough Native Display as part of a tactical mix with the primary goals of efficient cost per landing page view and cost per application for the Marriott Bonvoy Business Credit Card.
Sharethrough implemented the campaign via a custom deal ID through DV360, leveraging Google’s Run of Exchange Deal ID and proprietary data pre-filtered for high viewability and improved match rates, with targeting using 1st- and 3rd-party audience segments. Sharethrough exceeded American Express’s cost-per-landing-page and cost-per-application goals versus the competition, delivering the intended traffic efficiency and measurable uplift.
