Vodafone, a global telecommunications company with about 90,000 employees, needed to modernize and standardize its travel and expense processes across multiple markets as part of a push to become a digital-first communications company. Facing fragmented T&E systems and the challenge of delivering a consistent, customer-focused experience, Vodafone set out to transform how employees book travel, manage expenses, and access policy information across 38 countries.

Vodafone deployed the SAP Concur suite—including Concur Travel, Concur Expense, Concur Intelligence, TripLink, Company Bill Statements, ExpenseIt, Policy Audit, TripIt Pro and support tools—and completed the rollout in just nine months. The program centralized and automated T&E workflows, improved compliance and visibility, simplified billing and reporting, and enhanced the traveler experience, earning Vodafone the SAP Concur Innovation Award in 2021.
