Vodafone engaged Reward Gateway to replace its benefits platform and tackle low employee engagement, particularly among its large offline and retail workforce. The organisation needed a simpler, low‑administration solution for complex salary‑sacrifice products and a communications approach that would reach staff with limited email/desktop access; Reward Gateway’s My Choices platform and benefits catalogue (Cycle to Work, Childcare Vouchers, employee discounts, wellbeing and more) were selected to address this.

Reward Gateway implemented a coordinated launch and communications plan—using enrolment windows, targeted emails, branded store materials, roadshows, conference attendance and revamped induction materials—to drive uptake. The results were significant: a 450% increase in Cycle to Work applications, a 9% rise in Childcare Vouchers, 50% more PMI uptake, 39% more Critical Illness cover, overall platform usage tripled, and employee savings equivalent to a £3,000,000 salary increase across Vodafone.
