The Ad Council, a national non-profit, faced the challenge of harnessing the massive organic response to its #LoveHasNoLabels campaign. They needed an effective way to curate and showcase thousands of user-generated images being shared across social media to promote acceptance and inclusion. To manage this, they turned to the vendor Nosto (using its UGC product) to develop a user-generated content strategy.
Nosto's platform enabled the Ad Council to aggregate over 40,000 authentic images from Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. This UGC was displayed in galleries on their website and shared on social channels, where it consistently became top-performing content. The solution powered the campaign's ongoing success, which included winning an Emmy Award and multiple Cannes Lions Awards, while building a cohesive and relatable brand.
