A Lattice Case Study
UserTesting, a 300-employee internet company with a 30-person Product & Design team led by VP Chris Abad, needed a better way to collect lightweight weekly status updates. Email threads and a prior clunky tool made updates inconsistent, hard to track, and time-consuming to aggregate, so the team sought a simple, well-designed solution — Lattice’s updates feature.
UserTesting adopted Lattice, onboarded the team quickly, and used Lattice’s team pages and reminders to track submissions, comment in context, and nudge stragglers via Slack. The change delivered immediate gains: designers praised the UX, enforcement became easy, and adoption rose to the point where reminders work "99% of the time" and at most one or two people forget in a given week, restoring a reliable 15-minute weekly update routine and cutting the prior cognitive overhead.
