Maybelline New York wanted to spotlight its two-year sponsorship of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week while also driving awareness for key products like Volum’ Express Falsies, Eye Studio, Color Sensational, and Dream Smooth. The brand needed a visually striking campaign that would connect with fashion-conscious women ages 18-34 and make its Fashion Week presence stand out in New York City.
Lamar Advertising Company used a broad out-of-home campaign across Manhattan, including bulletins, wrapped double-decker buses, bus shelters, urban panels, phone kiosks, station dominations, back-lit dioramas, pole banners, newsstands, and storescape placements. Concentrated around Lincoln Center and other fashion-heavy neighborhoods, the campaign created high-impact visibility and buzz for Maybelline’s sponsorship and products, and the success was strong enough that Maybelline expressed interest in running a similar program again.
