Rakuten Marketing partnered with lifestyle brand Vera Bradley to overhaul a long-standing paid search account that had become cluttered with outdated campaigns, keywords and inconsistent cross-device/channel replication. The goal was to boost relevance and CTR, improve conversion through more specific landing pages, reduce CPC with reworked bids, and eliminate costly cross-matching with reorganized ad groups and a stronger negative keyword strategy.
Using Kenshoo Editor for offline bulk editing cut a projected 200-hour task down to about 65 hours, letting the team preserve core campaign history while quickly reorganizing campaigns, sorting by match type, adjusting bids and copying desktop campaigns into tablet and mobile. The restructure delivered strong performance gains: CTR +26.11%, CPC −36.84%, clicks +22%+, ROAS +67%, and 28% more revenue achieved with roughly 23% less cost.
