InsightSquared, a sales performance analytics company, sought to build on the success of its award-winning advocate program, The Square, by increasing reviews, references, referrals and resources. Rather than immediately soliciting favors, the company aimed to deepen relationships and turn customers into enthusiastic advocates who could drive measurable sales and content outcomes.
InsightSquared implemented a three-stage nurture program—Get Acquainted, Fun/Educational Challenges and Larger Asks—starting with personal welcome messages and product-strengthening tasks; advocates who completed 20+ challenges were invited to advocate for the brand. The campaign delivered 300 new advocates in 90 days, 1,700+ mid/high-level challenges completed, 228 third-party reviews, 139 referrals, $500,000 closed from one referral, 31 customer references and 18 testimonials.
