Freshworks, through its Software Training Academy (STR) CSR initiative, wanted to create career opportunities for underprivileged students in remote parts of Tamil Nadu, India. The challenge was running fair and accessible skills assessments in low-connectivity areas, supporting candidates who were not fluent in English, and preventing malpractice during testing.
Freshworks partnered with iMocha and used its skills intelligence and skills assessment platform to deliver translated Tamil assessments, image-rich questions, and smart image proctoring. iMocha also provided live support throughout the process, helping Freshworks achieve less than 1% drop-out during assessments and successfully evaluate two batches of students while ensuring integrity and access from even low-bandwidth locations.
