A Cloudflare Case Study
Skyscanner, a global travel search platform, faced challenges with a strained traditional on-premises IT architecture and a legacy VPN that struggled with security and the demands of hybrid work. To modernize remote access and strengthen its security posture, Skyscanner partnered with Cloudflare to implement a Zero Trust solution, specifically Cloudflare Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
Cloudflare replaced the legacy VPN, enabling granular, least-privilege access controls and simplifying infrastructure management. The solution improved security through automated, policy-based access and dramatically enhanced performance for Skyscanner's global workforce by leveraging Cloudflare's global network, cutting connection times between Asia and Europe to under 200 milliseconds. This allowed Skyscanner's engineers to shift focus from maintenance to development.
