Vodafone New Zealand wanted to build an efficient, scalable Business Marketplace for SMEs but needed to consolidate disparate teams, eliminate technical debt, integrate multiple platforms and upskill sales and post‑sales staff. To achieve this it partnered with CloudBlue, deploying CloudBlue’s Commerce and Connect platforms and engaging CloudBlue’s Acceleration Services to support the launch.

CloudBlue implemented a self‑service storefront, enabled a small five‑person core team model and provided Acceleration Services (dedicated sales experts and 24/7 technical support via a delivery partner) to speed go‑to‑market. The results: Vodafone New Zealand sold 171–207 licenses to three customers in week one, delivered quarter‑one conversion rates of roughly 43–50% versus a 15% target, and secured 4,000+ new licenses and change orders in year one, while gaining the ability to bundle mobile, fixed and ICT services to drive higher ARPU — all through CloudBlue.
