Proximus Gives Its Employees a Boost by Hiring a Digital Workforce

Proximus, Belgium’s largest telecommunications provider, wanted to improve the employee experience by removing repetitive back-office work such as invoice processing and lengthy equipment documentation. To boost staff morale and free people for higher-value tasks, Proximus engaged SS&C Blue Prism and deployed a Blue Prism digital workforce, including the Blue Prism Decipher intelligent document processing solution.

SS&C Blue Prism implemented digital workers that now handle more than 150,000 invoice scans per year (returning about 1,000 days to the business annually) and a specialist bot named Nadia that standardizes equipment documentation, saving roughly 90 work hours a month. Today Proximus runs 65 SS&C Blue Prism digital workers across the organization, improving accuracy, scalability and staff satisfaction.
