Dell’s Approach to Social Media Sourcing and ROI

Dell used Avature to improve social media sourcing and employer branding while solving a common challenge: proving ROI to management. The team wanted to show that its social efforts were more than a “nice to have” and clearly connect branding activity to candidate attraction and hires.

Using the Avature platform, Dell created trackable URLs, posted directly to social channels, and monitored clicks, visitors, and applicant flow by campaign and market. The results included 2.6 million organic reach for one event campaign, 112 new candidates added to the talent pool, a 1661% increase in Facebook traffic in Brazil, 500 applicants and 25 hires via social media in Brazil in 2017, and a 153% increase in apply clicks in Latin America for Q2.
