Telefónica Selects Amdocs for Multi-Channel, Quad-Play Transformation in Brazil

Telefónica selected Amdocs to support a business support systems (BSS) transformation in Brazil for Vivo, aiming to deliver a seamless multi-channel experience across wireline, wireless, internet and TV services. The challenge was to unify customer interactions and modernize legacy systems so Telefónica could offer consistent service across traditional, online and digital channels.

Amdocs will consolidate Vivo’s multiple third-party legacy systems onto a single Amdocs BSS platform, covering CRM, service order management, catalog and revenue management, along with system development, data migration, testing and change management. The expected result is a more personalized, real-time customer view and a stronger customer experience, helping Telefónica accelerate transformation and drive revenue growth in Brazil.
