Hudl, a global sports technology company, was growing quickly while also facing new ASC 606 revenue recognition requirements and frequent pricing changes. To keep up with its expanding business, Hudl needed a scalable way to handle complex billing, accounting, and compliance without adding more manual work. Zuora’s integrated Billing and Revenue solutions, along with Zuora Revenue, were used to support this shift.
Zuora implemented automation across Hudl’s revenue and billing operations, including Workflow and Developer Tools, helping reduce manual processes and improve reporting. The results were significant: Hudl cut close time by about half, eliminated extra days needed to close during its 2023 busy season, and saved IT, billing, and engineering teams over 100 hours per month. Since partnering with Zuora in 2017, Hudl’s business has doubled.
