Enercare, a leading home services provider in Ontario serving more than 1 million homeowners and businesses, faced a major challenge when its third-party billing arrangement was set to end in 2022. The company needed a new direct-billing solution that could support a seamless customer experience, strong security, minimal integrations, and flexible billing for both B2C and B2B customers, so it partnered with Zuora.

Zuora implemented Zuora Billing to create an internal billing and revenue platform and support the migration of more than 1 million customers. The transition was completed in half the time estimated by other vendors, while giving Enercare direct control of customer accounts, self-service portal access, and better insight into customer needs. Zuora also enabled new pricing and packaging models, helping Enercare cut costs and position the business for future growth.
