Case Study: Pantec Automation achieves around 50% faster machine delivery and reduced product costs with Zuken E3.series

A Zuken Case Study

Preview of the Pantec Automation Case Study

Pantec Automation cuts machine manufacturing turnaround time by around 50%, reduces product costs, and helps protect IP for its customers, using E3 series

Pantec Automation, a Liechtenstein-based designer and manufacturer of control systems, faced pressure from customers losing business to lower‑cost copied machinery and needed to help them cut costs, shorten delivery times, and protect IP. To do this it expanded use of Zuken’s E3.series and integrated it into its processes so modular, variant-rich machines could be specified, quoted and produced more efficiently.

By integrating Zuken’s E3.series with its ERP/PPS and building a Configurator with a decision‑tree for valid options, Pantec Automation automated electrical planning and BOM generation so 95% of projects go straight to assembly. The result: quotes delivered in days, order‑to‑delivery slashed from about 15 to 8 weeks (≈50%), lower product costs and reduced IP risk — all achieved using the existing E3.series setup at no extra cost.
