Case Study: M-H engineering achieves custom wheel speed sensor integration with Zuken E3.series

M-H engineering GmbH & Co. KG, a special machinery engineering company near Stuttgart, wanted to retrofit its 2017 KTM X Bow with wheel speed sensing because the vehicle did not provide separate wheel speeds. To support this custom automotive mechatronics challenge, the company used Zuken’s E3.series electrical engineering platform.

Using Zuken’s E3.series, M-H engineering created a custom wiring harness for wheel speed sensors, iterating on the design until it was ready for installation in mid-2019. The solution enabled wheel speed measurement and analysis via a specially programmed app, opening the door to traction control development while also improving M-H engineering’s customer project workflow through faster, more accurate electrical design.
