Case Study: Endress+Hauser achieves PCB standardization and design reuse with Zuken

A Zuken Case Study

Preview of the Endress+Hauser Case Study

Endress+Hauser standardizes PCB engineering and production processes for industrial measurement products across distributed locations

Endress+Hauser, a global leader in industrial measurement instrumentation, faced fragmented PCB engineering and material data across five geographically distributed operations, which limited design reuse and risked production continuity. To address this, the company partnered with Zuken, deploying Zuken’s PCB toolset (CR-8000/Design Gateway) and the DS-2 data management environment to centralize CAD libraries and link component data to SAP.

Zuken implemented a unified DS-2 repository and standardized CR-8000 workflows, creating a single central CAD library of roughly 5,000 component descriptions, synchronizing material master data across SAP, and automating approval and document-generation routines. As a result, PCB toolsets are standardized across five operations, component information is synchronized in Zuken DS-2, engineers get faster, controlled access to approved data, and engineering productivity and data protection have measurably improved.
