SquareMeal, a UK restaurant and events listings publisher with about 30 staff and over 15,000 listings, faced inefficiencies from legacy on‑premise systems and scattered spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel, Access and SAGE CRM). To centralize data, improve reporting, enable cloud integration and provide a user‑friendly sales tool, SquareMeal deployed Zoho CRM (alongside later adding Zoho SalesIQ) beginning in early 2019.

Zoho CRM was implemented and customised in‑house with Zoho onboarding support, replacing manual data transfers and fragmented reporting. The solution delivered measurable gains: a 400% improvement in sales process efficiency, 300% increase in data collection, and average time savings of 5 hours per week for each of 15 users, while enabling consolidated 360° reporting and reduced duplicate data entry. Zoho CRM’s ease of use and low cost also sped adoption across the team.
