How Christie’s Hong Kong Uses WeChat + zkipster

Christie’s Hong Kong’s events team needed a guest management platform that could support both its global RSVP process and the WeChat-based registration flow preferred by clients in China. The team wanted to avoid running two separate RSVP mechanisms and guest lists, while still providing a localized and bespoke experience.

Zkipster provided a custom API integration with WeChat, allowing Christie’s Hong Kong to create separate event setups for email RSVPs and WeChat registrations while keeping guest data unified in zkipster. Registered WeChat guests received QR codes in their mini-program event pages for contactless check-in through the zkipster iOS or Android app, and post-event reports captured RSVPs, attendance, and no-shows. Christie’s Hong Kong said more than 1,000 clients visiting its Beijing and Shanghai previews signed up and checked in through the integrated zkipster and WeChat interface with no issue.
