How Barbican Art Gallery in London hosts private views with zkipster Sessions

Barbican Art Gallery in London needed a safe way to resume private views after COVID restrictions eased in May 2021. With social distancing still in place, the gallery could no longer invite its usual 700-900 person list or let guests arrive freely between 6.30pm and 8.30pm, so it turned to Zkipster and its Sessions feature to manage the event.

Using Zkipster Sessions, the Barbican Art Gallery reduced attendance to 250 guests and staggered arrivals at 15 minute intervals over two and a half hours. Guests received email confirmations with QR codes, check-in became faster with iPads, and the team could track session data in one place for the first time.
