Clarktel Telecommunications, an Akron-based communications and IT infrastructure services company and NEC Channel Partner, needed to bring lead generation in-house because it has no formal marketing team. To promote NEC’s UNIVERGE platforms and increase brand awareness and customer loyalty, Clarktel adopted NEC’s Channel Marketing Automation partner portal, which is powered by ZINFI Technologies’ Unified Channel Management platform.
Using NEC’s turnkey email campaigns delivered through the partner portal and supported by ZINFI Technologies, Clarktel ran two campaigns (158 emails) that produced a response rate of more than 30%, 50 active engagements, 15 prospects added to the sales pipeline and five closed NEC platform sales; Clark estimates a 10–15% increase in lead generation in the first two months. ZINFI Technologies’ portal, training and support let Clarktel execute effective campaigns without adding staff and set the stage for further CRM integration and follow-on campaigns.
