State-of-the-Art facility and Zetron Help Future-Proof Critical-Communications in Tennessee

McMinn County 911 in Tennessee faced overcrowding and aging equipment after consolidating dispatch centers and growing from an initial staff of nine to larger operations. Because they had long relied on Zetron products, the agency chose Zetron’s MAX Dispatch and MAX Call‑Taking systems to replace older kit and meet higher technology and capacity standards.

Zetron, working with reseller GeoConex, implemented MAX Dispatch and MAX Call‑Taking and provided training during a seamless migration into a new 6,000‑square‑foot facility that went live July 27, 2016. The Zetron solution equipped multiple console positions (including eight staffed positions), supported a staff of 22 serving nearly 53,000 residents, left room for four additional consoles, and delivered a user‑friendly, future‑proof communications center with measurable gains in capacity and service coverage.
