MAX Dispatch/NEXEDGE® Solution Improves Safety and Security at Gonzaga

Gonzaga University faced growing safety and communications problems on campus due to disparate, aging and non‑compatible radio systems that put students and staff at risk. To modernize their dispatch center and improve interoperability, Gonzaga selected Zetron’s MAX Dispatch console (integrated with the NEXEDGE radio system) to replace antiquated equipment and support their campus security operations.

Zetron implemented the MAX Dispatch solution and integrated it with the new digital trunked NEXEDGE infrastructure, simplifying configuration and enabling seamless interoperation across campus. The upgrade improved reliability and coverage for Gonzaga’s security team of 21 (including 14 officers), allowed custom features like a branded all‑call alert and screen background, and set the university up for future mobile dispatch capability and enhanced coordination with local first responders — demonstrating Zetron’s impact on campus safety and operational readiness.
