Expensify, a San Francisco–based financial services company, faced rapid product adoption and headcount growth that outpaced its sales visibility. Tasked with building a scalable sales organization, Expensify needed a data-driven solution to understand rep capacity, upmarket channels and marketing source attribution—so they turned to Zendesk Sell and its Apollo sales science platform.

Zendesk Sell implemented its core Sell productivity tools and the Apollo analytics layer, ingesting more than 15 million data points to build a company-specific Sales Genome, fix lead-tracking gaps and reveal which reps close deals from particular lead sources. As a result, Zendesk Sell enabled strategic lead distribution, clearer marketing attribution, higher-value lead focus (lead and opportunity scoring) and much greater executive visibility into sales performance.
