Peritus Digital rapidly deploys seamless invoicing solution with Sell API

Peritus Digital, a New York–based technology consulting and development agency, faced a client challenge: no off‑the‑shelf invoicing system could manage subscriptions, integrate with Stripe, and support a global sales team. After evaluating many options, Peritus turned to Zendesk Sell’s API to build a bespoke solution that tightly integrates invoicing with the CRM.

Using the Zendesk Sell API, Peritus built Paycove and embedded invoice generation directly in the Sell interface—automatically creating contracts when deals move to “pending close,” emailing invoices, accepting Stripe payments, and moving paid deals to “closed/won,” with bi‑directional sync for revenue and retention metrics. The Sell integration produced a prototype in one week, cut invoicing time from two weeks to three days, eliminated three legacy systems, and delivered roughly 50% monthly cost savings.
