Simpleray is an Iowa-based turnkey solar installer founded in 2008 that sought to scale in the booming Midwest solar market. As competition increased, its sales team relied on ad hoc tracking that siloed data and left reps unsure where to focus; leadership needed a measurable, extensible platform with custom integrations and better data to capture and qualify leads.
Simpleray implemented Zendesk Sell, integrating it with marketing to push contact-form data into Sell, auto-assign reps, trigger automated and customized emails, and capture geolocation (Google Maps snapshots) to improve qualification. Using the Sell API for custom workflows, Simpleray increased leads from about 8 per week to roughly 400 per month (a ~1,150% increase), giving the team clear, data-driven processes and better lead conversion.
