How youthSpark Created an Automated System Without Developers

YouthSpark, a Georgia nonprofit fighting human trafficking, needed a way to build an automated deterrence system called Demand Tracker without hiring developers. The challenge was to connect Twilio calls and texts to a searchable database and alert callers, all within a limited budget and timeline.

Using Zapier, YouthSpark linked Twilio with Airtable through automated Zaps. Zapier logged calls into Airtable and sent deterrence text messages when new records were added, helping YouthSpark launch the system in weeks and creating a tool with the potential to deter thousands of prospective predators.
