DonorsChoose, a nonprofit that helps teachers fund classroom projects, needed a better way to keep recurring team meetings organized and manage large-scale donor email outreach without missing important details. To solve this, the team used Zapier to automate reminders and capture email responses, reducing the risk of overlooked tasks and freeing staff to focus more on donor relationships.

Using Zapier, DonorsChoose set up automated workflows that posted Slack reminders from Google Sheets and Google Calendar, and logged labeled Gmail replies into Google Sheets for easier review and analysis. Zapier helped the team streamline meeting prep and email tracking, and Danielle Curtis said it saves her at least two hours for every mass email campaign.
