TravelPerk, a business travel software startup, wanted to keep its team lean as it grew without hiring engineers for every integration or workflow. To avoid costly custom development, the company used Zapier to connect its apps and automate repetitive marketing and sales processes.
Zapier helped TravelPerk automate workflows such as sending Unbounce submissions to Autopilot and Slack, creating Intercom users from Salesforce leads, and notifying teams about new leads. As a result, TravelPerk reduced manual work, removed an engineering bottleneck, and saved enough effort and cost that its VP of Marketing & Growth said Zapier “saved us from hiring a full-time engineer.”
