Dell partnered with YourCause after acquiring EMC and adding 50,000 employees to advance its conservation mission through the Million Tree Challenge. Faced with the need to innovate quickly, introduce a CSR platform to thousands of new hires, and launch a campaign in just two months, Dell worked with YourCause to design a streamlined voting engagement element so employees could easily participate.

YourCause built a custom voting tool on Dell’s CSR platform that let employees pick one of five global planting locations with a single click, eliminating lengthy forms to maximize engagement. The initiative planted 21,975 trees, drove 13,657 new employee registrations, and generated 8,602 votes in the first 24 hours—fueling Dell’s Million Tree Challenge and amplifying impact through partners like the World Wildlife Fund.
