How Friends of the Earth tested fundraising propositions with YouGov Surveys Self-serve

Friends of the Earth, a multinational charity, needed to test concepts for a new fundraising appeal. Their challenge was to identify which creative design would drive the most engagement and donations from their target audience in a quick and cost-effective way. They turned to YouGov to utilize its YouGov Surveys: Self-serve platform for this task.

Using YouGov's self-service platform, the charity rapidly built a survey targeting 300 UK respondents who donate to environmental causes. The results clearly showed a strong consumer preference for a single creative, which elicited stronger emotions and a greater desire to learn more. These insights directly informed the charity's creative development and overall strategy, leading them to plan for the regular use of YouGov Surveys: Self-serve in future appeals.
