Citizens Advice, a UK charity, sought to understand public interest and financial willingness to invest in home energy efficiency and low-carbon heating improvements. They needed detailed, constituency-level data and partnered with the vendor YouGov to address this challenge using their research surveys and serviced surveys product.

YouGov designed a bespoke survey and utilized advanced statistical modeling (MRP) on a sample of over 12,000 adults to provide deep insights. The results, published in the Demand Net Zero Report, uncovered key homeowner attitudes and funding capabilities. This research directly influenced policy, leading to an industry roundtable, a joint letter to the Secretary of State, and provided Citizens Advice with pivotal insights for strategic discussions with government and industry stakeholders.
