Channel 4, a UK broadcaster, wanted a more data-driven method to prove the effectiveness of TV advertising to its clients, particularly those new to television. The challenge was to provide detailed insight beyond sales figures to encourage and secure new advertising partnerships, as with first-time advertiser HECK.

YouGov implemented its YouGov BrandIndex service to track the campaign. The solution provided daily analysis of key brand health metrics, which demonstrated significant increases in Ad Awareness and other metrics among target audiences. YouGov's data objectively proved the value of advertising on Channel 4, increasing the likelihood of repeat business from clients.
