Green People, an award-winning organic skincare brand founded by Charlotte Vohtz in 1997 after her daughter’s severe skin allergies, sells cruelty-free products through national retailers and its own eCommerce site. With a wide range of skincare, haircare and beauty lines, the company needed a way to help shoppers find the right products by surfacing relevant, trustworthy customer feedback across the buyer journey.
Partnering with Yotpo (via Gene Commerce), Green People added onsite reviews, Custom Questions in post-purchase emails, Smart Filters, a Q&A widget, and customer photos from reviews and Instagram. The result: richer, more discoverable UGC, over 22,000 reviews (double their previous volume), a 57.2% uplift in average time on site, a 64% increase in conversion after widget engagement, and a 48% higher likelihood of return for visitors who engage with reviews.
