Dakine, the Hood River, Oregon–based outdoor apparel and gear company founded in Hawaii in 1979, needed to strengthen its brand community and add social proof across its site to build trust and convert hesitant shoppers. Their challenge was to generate authentic customer content and surface reviews and product Q&A that would validate experiences and drive purchase confidence.

Working with Forix, Dakine integrated Yotpo to send targeted review requests, display on‑site review widgets and product Q&A, and capture customer feedback to inform product improvements. The on‑site UGC drove strong results: shoppers who engaged with the content were 152% more likely to purchase, average order value grew 20%, and average time on site rose 71%.
