Bloomberg partnered with Yello, using WayUp’s Virtual Info Sessions, to solve a major early-talent recruiting challenge during the pandemic. As campus recruiting shifted online, Bloomberg needed a way to connect personally with qualified candidates—especially diverse talent for open tech roles—without in-person campus events.

Yello, through its WayUp platform and large pool of self-reported candidate data, helped Bloomberg target and qualify attendees, manage marketing, and send SMS/email reminders to boost turnout. The result was three virtual info sessions with 302 total attendees, 94% Black or Latinx candidates, 52% female attendees, and 100% of attendees saying they intended to apply to Bloomberg.
