NCR Corporation, a $6.92 billion, 36,000-employee firm that builds self-service kiosks, ATMs, POS terminals and supporting software, needed to out-compete larger tech brands for campus talent and quickly pivot when campuses closed in 2020. Facing the twin challenges of accelerating their hiring timeline and centralizing disparate university tools, NCR Corporation selected Yello’s Early Talent solution to convert an on-site campus recruiting program into a fully virtual, data-driven process.

Yello became NCR’s default recruiting system, funneling all candidate data via branded forms, supporting virtual career fairs, interviews and evaluations, and integrating with Webex and Workday. The result: nearly 5,000 students engaged in late 2020, 92% evaluated through a consistent process, 99% with resumes attached, 2,600 moved forward, 1,400 interviewed and 550 interns and full-time hires — with offer decisions communicated within one week. Yello enabled a streamlined, measurable campus program and faster, more data-driven hiring.
