BDO, a global public accounting, tax and advisory network of more than 80,000 employees across 162 countries, faced rapidly growing campus hiring needs that strained manual processes—stacks of paper resumes, one-by-one evaluations and lengthy scheduling that hurt candidate experience and recruiter productivity. To scale virtual campus recruiting and improve candidate engagement, BDO partnered with Yello, deploying Yello’s events, evaluations, video interviewing and interview scheduling solutions.

Using Yello’s recruitment CRM, self-scheduling, mobile event check-in and pre-recorded/live video interviews, BDO automated outreach and accelerated every step of the process. The Yello-powered program reduced interview coordination by 2–3 days, screened twice the candidates in less than half the time, and delivered measurable savings (up to $1,000 per event and per live-interviewed candidate and 24+ staff hours saved per event). To date BDO has run 1,245 events with 15,097 attendees (66% evaluated), sent 7,209 automated emails and achieved a 74% email open rate—boosting ROI, recruiter capacity and the overall candidate experience with Yello.
