Preview of the Manpower Case Study

Manpower - Customer Case Study

Manpower, one of the world’s largest providers of temporary employment, relies on timely batch payroll processing for more than 2 million workers. They faced 293.34 hours of annual downtime when payroll jobs stalled because alerts were handled manually — staff monitored consoles, judged urgency and looked up on‑call personnel, a process that could take around 20 minutes.

By integrating xMatters with five existing monitoring systems (BMC Control‑M, HP SiteScope, Orion, Oracle Grid Control and Informatica), Manpower centralized alert filtering and routed notifications based on users’ schedules, preferences and devices. That change cut notification time from 15 to 3 minutes and eliminated 80 hours of downtime per year by delivering targeted alerts to the right person before incidents affected payroll.
